Our approach
We want the address generator and its information pages to be usable by people with different access needs. We use WCAG 2.2 as a reference for improvements. This is an account of current features and limitations, not a claim of certified conformance.
Controls and reading order
The pages provide a skip-to-content link, labelled country, region, city and quantity controls, visible focus styles, and buttons with text or accessible labels. The interface can be navigated with Tab and Shift+Tab; standard buttons and menus support Enter or Space where appropriate.
Generation status is exposed as a status message, while generated addresses also remain visible as text. Field copying and CSV/JSON export provide alternatives to manually reading a large batch.
Languages and requirements
The generator has 15 interface languages. Arabic uses right-to-left layout; generated postal addresses keep their original written format. These support pages are available in English, Simplified Chinese and French.
JavaScript must be enabled to generate addresses and use copy or export controls. Copying can also depend on browser clipboard permissions. Saved results require browser storage; export them before clearing site data.
Limitations and reporting a barrier
We have not completed an independent WCAG conformance assessment or a comprehensive screen-reader and browser test matrix. Select menus, long result batches and browser permission dialogs can behave differently across devices and assistive tools.
